2017 And The Show Rocks On

Zoe Blaq CEO of IStoryTells

Greetings, I am floating, flying, sailing into darkness, uncertainty and faith. It's been an interesting year so far. I feel myself evolving while unraveling. With the death of my grandmother and my beloved friend just a few months apart, I feel the ancestors tugging at me like never before. My production company is providing a service in order to fund our film production about the African Diaspora called DiSpell. I would like to thank all of you who have donated at our fundraisers. I am a holistic health advocate and I want to remind you of who you are. As storytellers and multimedia...

My Wish For You in 2015

My wish for you is to hug yourself and have as many deep belly laughs as possible. Forgive yourself for not being perfect. Surrender to listening and understanding experiences that are different than your own without judgement and changing people.  My wish for you is to dive deep into radical self love. If we don't take care of ourselves we can not help others effectively. Let go of who you think you are and step into the possibility of who you can become. Every label and category was designed to keep the human race apart. Go within. Naturally, you are a special edition. Be free. Happy New Year! Or, I'd be a flower plucked  at the ripe time of significant beauty stuck in a crystal vase- sun kissed in a window ceil. Perhaps even dried upside down in a dark closet before pressed and crumbled  in your fluorescent book of dreams.  (c) Poem by Zoe Blaq Rage. Love. Complexity  Dear Friends and Family, It's been a long journey but I am happy to share that my first poetry chapbook is moving forward and is soon to be released. The chapbook has 25 poems, 9 being haiku. This is the first time I have allowed my self to fully dwell in darkness and work through the process of healing. Healing starts with an awareness. It has also been a vessel to share and document what is going on in the world as an advocate and activist. This poetry book explores my raw emotion over the course of five years. Some poems are my personal experi...
