In a quest to understand my family history in Louisiana and Oklahoma, I became fascinated with the richness of creole and indigenous culture and traditions. As a world traveler I have decided to explore a narrative of quieting, listening and healing through an adventurous trip along the Caribbean Sea to study and experience creole and indigenous culture in Central America. Around six years ago I decided to loc my hair after a whirlwind of devastating events and I knew there was no turning back. I studied a bunch of loc torturials on YouTube and became even more inspired and empowered by the rich natural hair community. I decided to start my own channel archiving my own loc journey. Well, it was short lived because I can honestly say, I'm more of a writer and experimental artist -than a TV personality. Nonetheless, I want to thank all my viewers who are still with me today, I had my highest ratings when I was making loc videos years ago. My page is still alive! I still post from time to time. What Does Piddle mean? Piddle can mean a lot of things. Piddle Productions is a multimedia hub for under-served communities. To our community of artists, free thinkers and leaders it means we will continuously express ourselves without limitation or boundaries. We are committed to experimenting with several forms of art in order to heal ourselves and our communities. The time we waste here is exploring new ideas that help humanity come together with art, wellness and understanding.

We're celebrating the launch of the new collaboration Saturday, April 18th, and you're invited. Work from The Blk Grrrl Show , John Pham, Yumi Sakugawa :: Comic Book Artist + Illustrator , Tiny Splendor , and Selfish. This is really exciting for me because I have been a zinester since 2010 with the launch of my Black Punk Rock themed zine "Abstract By Nature." I'll be there representing with the #blkgrrrl show and reciting a few of my poems from my chapbook "Rage Love Complexity."  Very honored to share the stage with Pam Ward and Teka Lark Fleming.                          Blkgrrrl Planning Crew  The 1st annual BlkGrrrl Book Fair was insane!! It is one of the best new things to hit Los Angeles and I'm not just saying that because I curated the Julie Dash film festival section. This is what happens when you put Black women together that have vision, drive and determination.   LA weekly picked the book fair as one of the top places to be that weekend and I won't be surprised if it remains at the top for many years to come. The BlkGrrrl book fair set a tone and a reference for Women's month in Los Angeles. There was definitely something for everyone with a wide variety of literature for children and adults. Art exhibits, open poetry, panels, workshops, food, and vendors kept the stimulation going all day.  Every chair was filled and people stood in the back of the room to watch the Julie Dash film festival.
