At the Half-Way Mark

This year has been nothing but wonderful blessings in disguise. Although, I am more comfortable behind the scene, I had a desire to perform more and I have. I got my feet wet at Indigo Lounge and from there other projects started to present themselves. now I am performing in May with The Young Poet Society and a play called "Womban" in June. I've had my ups and downs but I've always managed to see the positive in every situation. People come and go in our lives so we can learn and grow from one another. I have no regrets. It is very important to surround yourself with people who are positive, secure and selfless. There is enough space for everyone to be heard, understood and appreciated in the world. Respect others and all will come back full circle. I've been putting together events since 2003. So much has changed, yet my vision becomes clearer each year. I feel I have found my purpose: to bring about awareness, activism and education in the form of artis
