At times life is an uphill battle as I continue to push towards new ideas and ventures. The opening night of Indigo Lounge was truly powerful, inspirational and educational. The room was filled with an eclectic mix of groovy people and good vibes. We celebrated an evening of Black history and love for the month of February. We started it with a libation, which is a African ritual to honor and respect those who came before us. It was a magic carpet ride through book passages and historic lessons in the name of spoken word and jazz.
