My Poetry Chapbook at Skylight Books

I'm excited to announce my poetry chapbook Rage Love Complexity is on the shelf at Skylight Books in Los Angeles. The chapbook was said to be "clever and edgy" and it is an example of healing through raw emotion. It was also requested at a social work department at a university in Canada. The bookstore is amazing! I'll be reading a few inserts April 12th at the NELA art walk at Rock Rose Gallery News. Go get my book and look around — at Skylight Books.

Harmony is Everything

Hello my beautiful people of the world!!

I've been thinking how dreams, positive thoughts and visualization synchronize when you are ready to receive what the universe has already given you. There are times we may feel alone and hopeless but it is all an illusion. Everything works on a symbiotic system. Our greatest teacher is nature. We learn to understand faith and patience when we work in harmony. We can not hold on to patterns of thought that keep us from co creating. One man  / woman can not help everyone. It is unrealistic to think that one person can do everything alone. We must help each other to survive. Life is about thriving relationships and making connections. I am humbled and thankful for all the people I allow in my immediate circle. Only surround yourself with family and friends who vibrate from the same frequency. Surround yourself with people that are motivating and inspiring. Better yet, disciplined. Be a vessel to help motivate and inspire others as well. Stay …

Workshop Goodness!!

It was a great evening as we discussed the past, present and future of women in our society based on Diane Khalo's exhibit "Wall of Memories." It was interesting and inspiring to hear the thoughts of different generations of mothers, daughters, and sisters. The exhibit details and brings awareness to the 1,000's of women abducted on the border of #Juarez. I was reminded to always know my worth! I would like to thank the wonderful and warm group of ladies that participated at Rock Rose art gallery. #zine anthology coming soon. -Zoe Blaq
