Critical Times 2011

This is a poem called "Critical Times" I wrote a few years back. I made a collage of images that I felt are powerful and correlate with humanity right now in 2011.

Mental Spring Cleaning

This is my little tranquility garden. I love to plant things during this time of year. My compost has bloomed beautifully giving off a wonderful aroma. It is mother nature at its best. It holds history of the past and awareness of the present. It is soil rich and moist to the touch. I can't wait to start the cycle of life with an herb garden this year. Spring is a time to reflect on priorities in the name of mental health. True happiness is freedom. Break away from toxic people, places or things. Find that safe haven that keeps you grounded, secure and flexible. Take on the world like a farmer. He plants without doubt. A farmer trusts the seasons. A farmer trusts the flow of the universe to help grow a bounty of crops each year. Happy Spring Cleaning!

Affirmations of No-Mind

I want to continue to be a voice in society. I want to continue to manipulate stereotypes that come with identity. I want to continue to help people as much as I can within my own context. I will do my best to take life as an adventure- like a child discovering the world for the first time- without preconceptions and fear. Today I work on not thinking of the burdens of the past or the anxiety of the future. This will only lead to my dreams deferred. Today I practice on staying AWARE in a world that is constantly trying to change me. Creative Director Piddle Productions
