The End of the World

So far, this year has brought many moments of clarity. Sometimes we are so impatient with ourselves and the world, that we don't see our personal growth which changes every minute. We are not the same person we were two minutes ago, literally. It often seems we are stuck in the same position. Prayer, contemplation and visualization... do it daily.
The Kingdom is a personal condition and can be experienced right now. The Kingdom is achieved through self-knowledge. We are free when we are not controlled by fears and desires. Don't get distracted. Stop hiding from yourself. Too many people live in doubt instead of faith. Too many people live in fear instead of love.  Practice being disciplined. The only thing permanent is the spiritual world. Union with God is not conditioned by circumstance or religious preference. We all have direct contact with God. The universe is a living presence even if you are skeptical about deities.
Love is a powerful force and in any given circumstance, we must use it, without expectation or demand. Life is a mystery to be lived not a puzzle to be figured out. My intuition leads me to believe "the last days" will not be measured on how many guns you have or what type of bomb shelter you've invested in. We must stop letting television dictate our thoughts and mold our imagination. This type of thinking only leads to self destruction.
Rhetorics can not be taken literally. Eternal life is not a conviction but a consciousness that we all possess. So I will chime in on this "hot topic" and say that life is a cycle. "The last days" is a reminder to be prepared  for a new way of thinking, creating and living. Those who stay alert and can adapt will understand that the beginning is near. Not the end.

I'm addicted to coping strategies!!

Has anyone ever told you that they used to be "in the world" but all of a sudden out of some circumstance or situation have decided they are too God-like to participate? Well, reality is that we must all live in this world. Call it spirit, God, Jesus, Buddha, consciousness, the universe or nothing at all - it was all created for you, in you. Life and the world we live in is beautiful. Look at all the wonders of nature. The difference is knowing what you are here to do. We can feed our fears with fear or we can conquer our fears by turning inside ourselves for real answers. People confuse superficial actions with the real thing constantly, and so they will forever remain zombies. I believe in God, I believe in science, I believe in evolution. I am open to everything and attached to nothing. This is the mystery of life and I humble myself to the all and everything.

Your DNA and your life journey was specifically chiseled out for you. Stop looking at the next persons imperfec…

Greetings,
I am floating, flying, sailing into darkness, uncertainty and faith. It's been an interesting year so far. I feel myself evolving while unraveling. With the death of my grandmother and my beloved friend just a few months apart, I feel the ancestors tugging at me like never before.
My production company is providing a service in order to fund our film production about the African Diaspora called DiSpell. I would like to thank all of you who have donated at our fundraisers. We continue to stay passionate about traveling along the Caribbean coast and archiving stories. The goal is to fly to Afro Caribbean Costa Rica and travel by land back to the United States maintaining and documenting stories of our ancestors. We are the historians that must keep our own stories alive. It is important to instill strength, courage and holistic health practices in our POC communities. I am a holistic health advocate and I want to remind you of who you are. As storytellers and multimedia …

Memorial Weekend at Val Verde, Ca

One of the best things happened to me! I was able to fullfill a bucket list dream which was to put on a community Music and Cultural Festival. Although there is room for improvement I can honestly say it was the best decision I have made this year. It takes support of family and friends to keep me motivated and pushing towards my goals and vision.
I am grateful. There will be more festivals curated by me in the on going years. The world is as good as you make it. Stay focused, stay positive and set your intention.

Please do yourself a favor and research the historic relevance of "Black Palm Springs" in the 1920's during Jim Crow.

This annual festival is not just about having a good time it's about historical awareness in underserved communities.

Come out next year for free camping, free swimming, yoga, live music and community!
